] Zanzibar, January 16. * Tbe insurgent forces attacked and Itaftroyed a German mission station ■tear Dares Salam, on the Lake Nyassa «■& The object of the attack was to tee&pture over 100 freed slaves, which «ss successfully accomplished by the *efeels. The German war vessel Mo we, ace of the blockading fleet, bomtaided toe town, which was almost completely destroyed, without injuring tbe rebels, who retreated to the interior after obtaining possession of the t&Tee, and thus outreached the teed , * shells.
