Battt —Archer —On the 17th inst., at St. Michael's, Christchurch, by the Venerable Archdeacon Harper, Joseph Batty, Cairnbrae, New Zealand, only son of the late William Batty, Lodge Hill, Ossett, to Clara, second daughter of the late Jacob Archer, Oseett, Yorkshire, England. Harwood-Maxsok— On 9th January, at St. Michael's, by the Rev. W. Harper, William H. Harwood, second son of Samuel Harwood, Prebbleton, to Agnes Maneon, second daughter of the late Mr Hanson, Hororata.
