Theßeno] considered the objection valid, and di| missed the case, warning the defendant however, that he had admitted anothe ; offence,- viz., driving without jk license I for which he would probablybe OTOceedej charged with stealing a fence picket, valued at 6d, the property of Win. Lewis, of St. Asaph street. The accused admitted having pulled out the picket, but said he had no intention of stealing it. He was dismissed with a caution. Miscellaneous.—Two boys, aged respectively 16 and 15 years, were charged with upsetting a closet pan on the footpath in Kilmore street on the evening of last Christmas Eve. They denied the offence. Another boy, whom the police called as a witness, now stated that the defendants had nothing to do with it. The case was dismissed.—Wra. Longdin, for allowing two horses to wander afc large, was fined 53 _A case against Wm. Stonyer, for allowing a bull to be at large in the New Brighton district, was, on the application of Mr Leatham, adjourned till January 23rd.
