VIRTUE REWARDED.
Edward Binks had been an exceedingly good boy for the previous twelve months, and when bis school broke up for the Christmas holidays Edward was the proud bearer of a letter to his paternal relative, in whiehgbe dominie testified that he had been light of his term, and had beejJi«regularly top of his form at mental arithmetic, physical geography, and other juvenile accomplishments. The maternal Binks, blissfully ignorant of the fact that the same letter, which was « manifold one, was carried into every household represented at the school, promptly rewarded young Ted with a Waterbury watch, which made him supremely happy, as it is warranted to do any boy who is lucky enough to own one. This watch is not a toy, Dut a reliable timekeeper; and parents looking for birthday or Christmas presents cannot possibly do better than choose a Waterbury.
