Esqs.l Drunkennkss. — Nellie Herbert, her third appearance within the week, vu, for this offence, fined 10a, or in default forty-eight hours' imprisonment. A first ottonder was fined ss, or in default twentyfour hours' imprisonment. Alleged Wife Desertion. — George Stokes, arrested in Wellington on & charge of this nature, was, on the application of the police, remanded till December , SlaU Bail was allowed, himself in £25 and one , surety in a like sum.
