At the sitting of the National Indjau Congress to-day resolutions were carried that expansion and reform ia the manner of appointing GovernorsGeneral and Provincial Councils were necessary. All the gentlemen speaking on the subject profeased feryeat loyalty to Great Britain. Received December 31st, 1.10 ojm. Calcutta, December 29. The National Indian Congress baa now concluded its sittings. During the latter part of tho Coufoience questions of social, political and military reforms were discussed, and the promotion of indigenous industries was recommended to inquiry by a Parliamentary Committee. A telegram expressing sympathy with Mr John Bright in his severe illness was authorised to be sent. The Congress wound up with hearty cheers for her Majesty QueeD Victoria.
