BRISBANE, December 8.

The foul which occurred in the grand international sculling contest between Searle, Beach and Matterson, in which Beach was awarded first place, has led to a good deal of ill-feeling, and Beach has erpressed hie determination not to row in the final heat owing to the conduct of Searle, who he considers forced the foul. The tactics of the champion, and his trainer Matterson, have met with general disapprobation. The final heat will be rowed on Tuesday.
