[FnOil OUR CORRESPONDENT.] • November 20. The Blueskin Jockey Club met on Frfc day and the chairman intimated that tha use of Mr K. Ferguson's paddock had been obtained for the races which arc to beheld on Easter Monday. A largo number of new members were enrolled, and office bearers for the season appointed. The Arrow Jockey CluS have decided to bold their races on New Year's Day, at Miller's Fiat. R. Hood, of Maniofcoto, lost week refused an offer of £50 for the well-known trotter Wanderoo. The St. Bathans annual races will be held on Boxing Day. Mr Soness, an old racing man and formerly one of the handicappers for the Dunedin Jockey Club, has determined to leave Gore, where ho has resided for several years, and settle in the North Island. At the sale of some of his stock lost week a two-year-old colt by Trefoil from Laßobemienne fetched 17 guineas, a yearling by Trefoil—Waikaka 16 guineas, and a two-year-old colt by Pinole Pafcchen? 20 guineas. November 21. E. Lyons, the well-known bookmaker, has returned front Melbourne this week. He left here three months ago with the intention of settling down on the other side, but the 'lot weather does not agree him, he says.
