Wednesday, October 10. [Before R. Westenra, J. G. Ruddenklau, and F. C. Cook, Esqs., J.P.'s.] Withdrawn.—Geo. Munro wa9 charged with having stolen a coat, the property of — Shaw, on or about September 24th. Mr Stringer appeared for the accused. Mr Joyce, who appeared for the prosecutor, said he had discovered that the coat had come into the possession of the accused in an innocent manner. He asked leave to withdrawn the information. Leave was given, and the accused was dismissed. Rowdy Women. — Ada Gilbert and Jessie Wood, prostitutes, for behaving in a disorderly manner near the Scotch Stores on the previous night, were each sentenced to be imprisoned for one month and kept to hard labor. MiscELLANKOUS.—Thomas Moore, Jno. C. Hobson and Charles Mann were each fined 5s for riding bicycles on footpaths.— A case against John Keogh, for allowing eleven cows to wander, was adjourned till October 17th.—Alf. Buxton, for allowing two horses to go at large, was fined ss.
