NEW ZEALAND AMATEUR ROWING ASSOCIATION.
[PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.] WELLINGTON. October 5. A special meeting of the New Zealand Amateur Bowing Association was held to-night. It -was decided to hold the annual meeting at Wellington instead of Christchnrch. Motions by the Union Club, Wanganui, and Canterbury Bowing Club 9to alter the definition of junior ana maiden oarsmen, were brought forward, and it wae resolved to give the presentdefini tion a further test. It was resolved that the Association nominate the Canterbury crew already selected for the four-oared race to be rowed in Sydney on December Ist. It was decided to postpone the question of deciding where the championships are to be rowed till the annual meeting three weeks hence.
