BISHOP HADFIELD.
[PBEM ASSOCIATION TILBafcAX/j WELLINGTON, October 4. The Synod, which closed its sittings yesterday, presented an address to Bishop Hadfield in commemoration of his sarcedotal jubilee. Reference was made to the fact that he was the first deacon ordained in Australia, and the first priest in New Zealand, and the first bishop consecrated without Eoyal mandate or letters patent. ■
