RICH SILVER FIND. Brisbane, October 4. A valuable silver find was made at Boorooboola, North Queensland. It is believed it will become tbe richest and the best field in Australia. STRIKE OF IRONWORKERS. Mblbodrn-, October 4. Three hundred ironworkers are on strike. They surrounded tbe foundry and attacked several non-unionists, one of whom was brutally ill-treated, and another severely injured. Beceived October 4th, _15 a_n, SUPPLY OF COAL. Sydnby, October 4. The non-association collieries are .experiencing a difficulty in finding a market for their coal at present ruling prices, and are now negotiating for orders for foreign markets.
