[FROM OCR CORRESPONDENT.] WELLINGTON, July 19. The investigation made iuto tho worthing of tlie Sheep Department by the joint Committee of both Houses, is proving very exhaustive in its character. Already several witnesses, including runholdei, from the Knikouras, Inspectors, and tha Minister for Lands, havo been exanlinod, and several others have yet to be called. The hearing of the evidence so far, I am given to understand, shows that the whohf Department ia deznoralidod. \
