Outside •*- K«l, the port from which he took his -departure, the Emperor witnessed %_ri_-«3t review of the fleet. •.The general impression is that the I*«t of the Emperor to the Czar will lengthen personal, if not political, *wtio_s between Germany and Russia.
Bbblin, July 16. ■_*"* Emperor William, on returning from his visit to the Czar, will visit of Denmark, and King W*»r of Sweden and Norway. *•■ Paris, July 16. s Admiral Kraut-, Miuister of Marine, «**» asked the Chamber of Deputies to *ote a sum of 67.000.000 francs for
the purpose of strengtheningthe harbor defences of Brest, Cherbourg and Toulon, but the Chamber refused to allow it to be made a question of urgency.. Received July 20th, l._Va.n_ Paris, July 18. The Chamber of Deputies has ap proved of Admiral Krant-'s scheme of strengthening harbor defences. Bekun, July 18. The meeting between the Emperor William and the Czar will take place at Ci-onstadt to-morrow. Festivities and a review will be held in honor of the occasion at St. Petersburg. The Emperor William will re-embark on Sunday after reviewing the Russian and German squadrons.
