As we are now in the midst of winter, with its attendant cold, bleak nights, when people are forceel as a matter:of necessity, to seek amusement indoors ia the shape of soirees, tea-fights. &c, per. haps a word in season on the secret of the success of such-like social gatherings may not be out of the way. First and foremost, bo careful yon set before your friends tea, and not. some of the wishy-washy dish wateir colored stuff too commonly sold nowadays as such. If you impress upon the promoters of your " swarries," as Sam Welier would call them, (he necessity of using Wardells Tea, and nothing else, you wUI, have the satisfaction of putting your guests, in a good humor tobi»g!tt with, and the result ia sure to be a jolly good tea fight.
