ALUSUKD Assaults.— W. M. de Weston, and Marion his wife, were charged with assaulting Sarah Savill, oa June 26th. Mr Franks appeared for the plaintiff, Mr Raphael for the defendant. There was a cross action brought by Mrs de Weston against Mrs Savill. It appeared that the de Westerns went to Mrs SaviU's house, when an altercation arose about a box detained by Mrs SaviU. and it was alleged that " olows were exchanged in which Mm - Savill, an ased woman, was considerably ' " knocked about." Mr aud Mrs de Weston were lined each £2 10a, Mrs Savill to receive £1 10a out of ihe line. A fortnight was allowed for payment. ixscLTiNu LaxuuaOE. —Aniiie Taylor charged Lizzie Stewart with having used insulting language to her. Mr Raphael - appeared for complainant. Tilt: case was . a frivolous one, and was dismissed.
