[press association telegram.] DUNEDIN, July 1& The Coursing Meeting was brought to a close to-day under very favorable weather and conditions, the sun shining brightly, and the only drawback being the prevalence of a keen westerly wind. There being only the concluding rounds of each stake to run off, a start was not made till 12.30 p.m. The following are the results:— ST. LEGtH. Fourth Round. Flora 11. beat Barrister Fugue beat Whisper Kinsky beat Kilkenny Fifth Round. Flora 11. beat Fugue Kinsky a bye Final Round. Mr T. Haskett's w b d Flora 11.. by Smoker— Louise, beat Mr K. Kidd's bd w d Kinsky. by Sardius—KTwoe, and won the stake. Fourth round—Betting, 2 to 1 on Flora 11., who led Barrister from the slips, but both got on the hare almost simultaneously, the favorite, however, scoring the turn. Barrister then got in, but a short course was terminated by Flora 11. regain ing possession and killing. 2tol on Fugue. Whisper led till close on the hare, whuii Fugue passed her, and turned quickly, winning another short trial with v kill. 5 to 4 ou Kilkenny, but Kinsky led to the turn, and running cleau over the favorite did almost all the scoring, and had won easily when the hare escaped.. Fifth round—2 to 1 ouFiora 11., who ran dean away from Fugue, and keeping always on the hjre won easily with a clever kill. Final round—3 to 2 on Flora 11, who led from the slips, but Kinsky gave her the go by. got the turn, and put in a lot of good work. The favorite, however, then got in, and running up a score rapidly had w.on cleverly when the hare escaped. INAUGURAL STAKOB. Fourth Rouud. Red Pine beat Lonewood Ringer beat Kj wi Quintana heat Secretary Litt.e Jack a bye Fiftb Round. Ringer bjat Red Pine Quintana btao Little Jack Final Round. Mr D. M. Rosa , w bik d Ringer, by Rinjfwood —Zoebeda. beat, Mr J. Capstick'e (us) bdrti Quintaua, by Kingfisher— Real Grit, and won t&o stafco. Fifth Round—6 to 4on Lonewood. Bed Fine led aud turned, and in a good chase after a strong hare did mostof the scoring, and won handsomely. 2 to lon Ringer, who led up to a grand hare, and, working beautifully, beat Kiwi almost pointless. 5 to 4 on Secretary, who stuck well to Quintana in the run up; but the latter got the turn, and had things pretty well all her own way through the remainder of the trial. Fifth Round—2 to 1 on Red Pine. A good race up to the hare saw the favorite get the turn, but Ringer then got in. and, working beautifully, wiped off Red Pine's lead and won handsomely. 2 to 1 on Quintana, who led Little Jack by several lengths, and won in hollow fashion. Final Round—6 to 4on Ringer, who was slowest away, and let Quintana get the turn, but the dog soon.got in, aud keeping well on the hare, ran up a score that wiped oil' Quintana's advantage, and when he killed he had won cleverly. Second Round—Gallant Foe led Artillery by very little to the hare, and, working grandly, won a short course with a kill. Rotomahana allowed Shamrock to lead and turn befo-e he got in, when a rare give and take trial ended in favor of the latter with a kill. Haroun-ul-Raschid allowed Doric to lead him easily, and, doing all the work, upset the odds in a sensational manner. Handy Andy was led up by Boomerang, but the favorite got in, and a long course after a tricky hare eneled in a narrow win for him. Medoc was quickest from the slips, but Bridegroom 11. gave him the go by, got the turn, and worked the hare beautifully till it escaped, the favorite not scoring. Kaproliaui beat Orphan pointless. Third Round—Shamrock had much the best of an interesting trial with Gallant Foe. Handy Andy led Doric to the turn, and did nearly all the scoring. Bridegroom 11. was decisively beaten by Newton after a varying trial. Fourth Round—6 to 4on Shamrock, who beat Handy Andy easily. 6 to 4on Newton, and tbe favorite beat Kaproliaui after a punishing course. Final —2 co lon Shamrock, who led up, turned, and wrenched; Newtoo got in, but was quickly displaced by Shamrock, who killed auel wovi the stake.
