ACTION OF THii RUGBY UNION. fPER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Received June 10th, 10.35 a.m. LONDON, JuneS. The Rugby Union has declined to reinstate J. P. Clowes, one of the English Football Team, as an amateur. It has also been decided to ask the other amateur members of the team to explain their breach of amateur rules in travelling as members of Lilly white's team.
Received June 11th, 3.60 p.m. SIDNEY, June 11. In a match against Eighteen Juniors, to-day, the English Footballers scored 11 points against the Juniors' 4.
