Berlin, January 13, It is reported here that the police have discovered a German Socialist plot to murder the Crown Prince, but uo details have transpired. THE NIHILISTS AND THE CZARSt. Pete—sbubg, January 13. Information respecting the movemen— of the Czar was revealed to the Nihilists by a railway official at Ga_-china. A large number of arrests have been made of persons supposed to be implicated in the plot lately unearthed. PRINCE FERDINAND. Constant—top j—, January 12. A denial has been given to tbe statement that the Porte intended to summon Prince Ferdinand to retire from the Bulgarian throne. AUSTRIA AND PRUSSIA. Vienna, January 13. The steady massing of troops on the Galician and Roumanian frontiers is reviving alarm in this city. THE WELSH MINES. London, January 13. Mr Morgan states that the first parcel of atone taken from his find near Dolgelly on examination yielded 30 per cent, of gold. THE PARIS EXPOSITION. Mr Bayard, Secretary of State, advises the manufacturers and others to exhibit at the Paris Exposition. Received January 18th, 1.30 a.m. THE SUGAR TRADE. London, January 13. Endeavors are now being made to bring back the sugar trade from Hamburg to London. MR SEXTON, M.P. Mr Sexton, M.P., is now recovering. HEALTH OF THE CROWN PRINCE. Berlin, January 13. The official announcement concerning the health of the Crown Prince states that the irritation connected •with the growth in the throat is reappearing. THE MELBOURNE EXHIBITION. Paris, January 13. At a large meeting of manufacturers the Minister of Commerce presided. The meeting was called for tbe object of ascertaining the number of exhibitors who intend to send goods to the Melbourne Exhibition. There was a very large attendance and great enthusiasm was. shown, it being decided to ask the Government to warmly interest themselves in supporting the Exhibition. FURTHER RAIDS BY THE CROFTERS. Glasgow, January 13. The crofters at Lewis Island are still making raids against the farmers, and are destroying the fences on the farms. ARREST OF BULGARIAN OFFICERS. Sofia, January 12. Many of the officers connected with the Army, and also many officials, have been arrested on a charge of conspiracy.
