Mr F.C. Tabart reports at his wool sale held on the 2nd inst., a full attendance of buyers, and notwithstanding the some•what unfavorable tenor of tbe last telegrams to hand of the London sales, there was spirited competition throughout, and of a catalogue comprising 274 bales submitted the following lots were placed at prices which must be considered satisfactory to vendors. Messrs James Wilkin and Co. report having held their first wool sale of the season at the New Zealand Wool Stores. There was a very large attendance of both local arid foreign buyers present, and biddings came freely, prices comparing most favorably with last year's prices, and with the exception of six bales, we cleared our catalogue.
