PURSUANT to the standing orders of the General Assembly of New Zealand relative to Local Bills, notice is hereby given that. application will be mado to tne General Assembly of New.Zcalaud during its now present KtHsioo, on /behalf of tho Christchurch Drainage Board, foij power to deal with certain drauiag- reserves in tho city ot Christchurch, which are no long-r required lor drainage purooscs. and which reserves are included within the lands hereinafter described, that is to say:— All that parcel of laud commencing ata point between Antigua and Montreal Btreofcs, and thence running easterly ana parallel to the South belfand anout two chains north therefrom to Madras street, thence north-ensteriy to a point on tho eastern boundary of Town Re-servo No. 125, about four chains north of the South town belt, thence to a point about nine and one-half' chains cast of Barbadoes street thence in a north-easterly direction to Lo*erHigh street Also, all that strip or parcel of land commencing at a point ono hundred and eighty-seven links west of tho west side of Madras street, and fronting the north side of Salisbury street to its junction with Madras street, t.henee fronting the west, side pf Madras street to the .
