RANGIORA.

The monthly meeting was held on Wednesday. Present—Messrs H. Boyd (Chairman),"Stephens, Jennings, and King. A letter from the Board of Education for list of books in use was discussed, when it transpired- that some change had been made at the Inspector's suggestion, without reference to the Committee. It was decided that no future alteration be made without the Committee's sanction. The number on the roll was 358, and the average attendance 295. It was stated that the school would be examined on December Ist for prizes by Mr Fergusson, and agreed that holidays for four weeks commence on December'2oth.
