P. Reeves, and Mr Ihos. Mackenzie (Clutha), while walking down the wharf, observed a boat capsize, from which four young men were precipitated into the water, and jumping aboard a dingy which was close to the wharf, Mr Reeves and Mr Mackenzie pulled to the scene of disaster and rescued the struggling men, bringing them safely on shore. The incident was witnessed by several spectators who loudly cheered the two plucky members of the Young New Zealand party. ■ '
