Wednesday. The Addington Yards were fairly well supplied witn stock for this week'smarket, the attendance of buyers and others being about an average one. Fat Cattle.—A good number yarded—more than the requirements demanded, quality varied, and mainly good. Business was very ' dull, "buyers having.it mostly their own way, and values .again showed a decline xumpared witn late markets. Bullocks sold at from £5 10s to £8 10s, and as high as £9 10s for extra heavy weights. Heifers "sold at fronf£4 5s to £7, / being from 16s to about 19s per 100,lbs, according to quality, .and suitability of weight. Dairy Cattle-r-4., fairly good number yarded; demand" not very brisk. Very good cows, near calving, sold at from £5 to £6 per head ; second-rate sorts, £3 to £4. J?at Sheep—A fairly good entry, quality varied, but on the whole good; demand showed an improvement. Freezing operations about to start, buyers for suitable sheep materially strengthened the market.
