Business Notices. SPECIAL NOTICE AND WARNING TO THE PUBLIC! IN consequence ot the Oreat Success achieved, and Kntii'O Satisfaction fciven, by iho Aurora "Combination Lamp-Stove, tbi-ronre now several Tnferior Tmiuif ionsof this Superior and Splendid Invention being offered to the public, and some unprincipled' persons, by EXHIBITING a sample ot the "Aurora 1 Anip'Stove. nro endeavoring: to take Ordcra ato a price less than tho published price of *.!, and then DKUVERING an article of an entirely different make to tho genuine thing. „., therefore nnd it our duty to WARN Tlth PUBLIC against such a monstrous imposition, and remind them that the, very luet o£ tno , article being offered for less money than tho printed and published price of £1 is a suiKcien.6 guarantee that the article so offered is not, and could not be, a GENUINE " AURORA." This circumstance at once, and conclusively, proves that even those people who have these trumpery and inferior imitations to sell, themselves acknowledge the vast, superiority oC tho *' Aurora" over all other makes by the very faoo of endeavouring to palm their artiole oil', anil trying to mislead people into tho belief that tho so-called Lamp-Store they offer IS an "Aurora." Thus they practically admit the " A\irora" to bo far superior to their own make —else why thia endeavor to mislead In order, therefore, that the public may protect themselves from being imposed upon ia. this way, and otherwise persuaded to buy an unsatisfactory article (simply because people have such for sale, or can uialce a better prolitj out of an inferior thing), it is of the utmost importance they bear in mind the following facts: —Namely, that the words " Aurora LampStove " are cast in raised letters upon the iron font or cistern of each Lamp, in addition to the ono word " Aurora " being painted in largogold letters, upon a red ground, in the front, of the Lamp. This name is registered, and persona applying ifc to makes other than tho roal article aro liable to prosecution. The cistern of the "Aurosa," which contains tho kerosene, is oC solid cast iron, cast • all in one piece-rvrtthouO Boam or join; and whero that pardon of the cistern which receives tho wick tubojs curved upwards, there is also no join or sesnosafc_ the angle—Hio whole being still all in one piece. And, therefore, it is impossible tho kerosene can ooxo or eraporato through (as lamp stovea of an inferior make aro all certain to do, more or less), causing a very disagreeable odour, and certainly not 1 fit to bum in a Bleeping apartment, or to bo \iscd for cooking purposes. The "Aurora*gives positively NQ SMEW* and NO SMOKE. Doctors recommend H for tho sick-room, and tho most delicate dishes are now being cooked to perfection Wo therefore aslc you not to be led astray b» any misrepresentations, but to read carefully all tho advantages which are claimed, and are daily being proved in favor ot the "Aurora," and wo feel satisfied you will come to the con« elusion, without a moment's hesitation, that, an article capaolo of achieving all tho "Aurora Combination Lamp Stove does, is certainly cheap enough at 20s, and worth (to any on* using it for any purpose) double- the money. What is the good of an article bought for a few shillings less money if it docs not give the result in either light or neat expected, and only , causes disappointment'afterwards? If it will not give more than half tho amount of Ugho and a fraction of the heat tho " Aurora doea? If it will not give a light sufficient to enable you to dispenso with other lights in tho room where this is being used? If it costs you a penny instead of ONE FARTHING per nour. and consumes four times tho quantity of oil that the.'•Aurora." does! If it does notheat* your irons quickly and sufficiently? If thfr whole affair only lasts for drfew months before being worn out —when the "Aurora' aftoe once purchased will last for many years with., ! constant use? We ask again, what is the \iso of snch aa article? And tho natural 'answer is—Such an article, however pleasing to tho eye, 'when it ia requirod for real useful scrvico, IS DEAR ATI ANY PRICE. Do not waste your money by allowing yourself to be persuaded into buying a thing which must prove generally unsatisfactory afterwards; hut insist upon having the " Aurora," and see for yourself tho Lamp- ■ Stove bears this namo before you consent to receive it. Ycu will thon bo as intensely satisj fled with your new purchase oh your friend and noighbor is (who has had tho " Aurora in use and tested), and you will find it a real boon and a genuine comfort all through tho hot, trying weather now approaching; and then, when the summer is over, it will bo found a treasure of domesti* convenience and handihess in the winter. ■ ""> The "Aurora" has never failed (wherever ib has had a fair trial) to givo perfect and entire satisfaction in all the'hundred and one different uses to which it is constantly being applied, and wo are perpetually receiving unsolicited testimony of its great convenience and usefulness and what a tremendous economises of- labor t.no " Aurora" Combination LamoStove really is, and what nti itnmeasurablo amount; bt daily fatigue in tho routine oE household Suty it saves!
