[PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.] INYERCARGILL, November 30. At the amateur athletic sports to-day, the 100 Yards Handicap was won by W. A. F. Thomson. Time, 10 2-sthsec. Hooper (Dunedin) won his heat, but was not placed in the final. Hooper won the Half-mile Race in 2min 12 l-sthsec. The 100 Yards Championship of New Zealand was won by F. Meenan (Dunedin). Time. 10 l-sthsec. Met nan also won the 250 Yards Race. Time. "JO 2-osec. The One Mile Championship g( New .Zealand was won by J. Field, with W. Taylor second and Hooper third. Time, smin lsec. Field also won the Club's Mile Race from scratch by about 100 yards, Hooper (25yds) being second. Time/omin. Field is a sawmill hand, and is a most ungainly runner, but stays well. The Mile Walk was won by T. Kerr (Dunedin) from scratch in 7rnin s:3sec.
