MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close for the following places as under (subject to the necessary alterations) :— THURSDAY, DECEMBER 1. For Otago, per Penguin, at 1.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 2 p.m.; guard's van, —40 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, per Manapouri, at 7 p.m.; guard's ran, 8.15 p.m. train. FRIDAY, DECEMBER 2. For United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America (via San Francisco), Sandwich Islands, Fi.it Islands, Cape of Good Hope, &c, and Northern ports of New Zealand, per s.s. Koforua, as follows:—Ordinary letters at? p.m.; late fee letters at 7.15 p.m.; books and newspapers at 6.30 p.m.; money orders at 4 p.m.; registered letters at 5 p.m.; guard's van, 8.15 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on January 9th, 1888. For Northern Ports and Australian colonies, per Hauroto, at 3.20 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.30 p.m. ; guard's van, 4 p.m. train. SATURDAY, DECEMBER 3. For Northern Ports and Greyxnouth, per Mawhera, at 7 p.m.; guard's van, 5.15 p.m. train.
