LIABILITY OF HARBOR BOARDS.

NAPIER, Novembers. In the case the Union Shipping Company v the Harbor Board, a claim of £25 5s 6d, damages to the launch "Waihi through the stripping of the propeller by the striking against a, buoy showing the position of «the aiichvr" or-the ship Northumberland, the R.M. gave judgment for the full amount and costs. The Court held that the Board, in leaving the buoy in the fair way, was guilty of an act of negligence, as no notice had been given of its danger to shipping.
