Melbourne, November 8. Heavy rains, which have fallen lately throughout the colony, have caused heavy floods in various parta, and in some localities considerable damage has been done to crops. There has been a heavy rainfall today, and the weather forecast for tomorrow is unfavorable for the cricket match between Shaw's team and eleven of New South Wales. THE SCULLING CHAMPIONSHIP. training for tho coujiug championship match. THE SHEARERS' UNION. Melbourne, November 8. Disputes between the Shearers' Union ami the sqmitters continue in the western district. A body of Unionists forcibly removed eight shearers from sheds on a station near Warrnambool. VEUNONS TEAM. Ycrnon's cricket team commence a match here with the Victorian eleveu ta-niorrow.
