FURTHER PROSECUTIONS,

The Government have decided to prosecute persons who attended the midnight meeting of the Nationalists held at Woodford, County .Galway, last month, at which the proclamation of the Lord Lieutenant forbi<Kfing the meeting-was burned in the |H*eße«ce of a large crowd. Amongst those to be indicted are the following members of Parlia-_ent;—Messrs Rowlands, D. Shechy and Gill.'',.-. Keceived November 6th, 8 p.m. •- Loudon, November 5.
Mr Cox, M.P. for East Clare, summoned to appear at Ennis on a charge of attending proclaimed meetings, failed to appear when called upon, and a warrant was accordingly issued for bis arrest. Mr Balfour, Chief Secretary for Ireland, speadting at the Town Hall, Birmingham, accused Mr Gladstone of laboring to frustrate the efforts of the Government to restore order in Ireland by palliating the commission of orime, and inciting the people to perpetrate ac-8 against the law. Goyefa-
ment, Mr Balfour declared, would, nevertheless, bravely persist in enforcing law and. order, and would finally triumph over their opponents.

London, November 4
A moonlighter has shot and severely wounded a farmer at Tralee while the latter was assisting a boycotted neighbor. The United Ireland urges the general application of the plan of campaign, in order to avenge O'Bnen. The Marquis of Hartington aud Mr Goschen will speak at Dublin on the 29th inst.
