ESTABLISHED 139 YEARS TURNER'S PATENT COMBINATION CHURN. F I'm IS Churn has been invented by a practical dairy farmer to supply a deficiency which was JL found to exist in the present Barrel Churn. In this Patent Ch'-ra the user has tbe advantage, whenever the cream becomes sleepy, of being able to thoroughly agitate the cream, by revolving the beaters inside, whilst the barrel remains stationary, or it can be revolved in the opposite direction to the beaters, if the hotter requires to be fetched quicker than usuaL The frame is ot the very best possible description, morticed and tenoned together and hold by joint bolts in the same manner as cha—butters, &c, so that it is impossible to* get ricketty. lb-re is room to place a bucket under the Churn. The barrel is fitted with a bolt to hold it in position to take the butter out. with spile hole to draw off the butter-—alk, with an easily tahen off cover, and with a valve to let off air, gas, Sec Altogether, the Chum is most complete. A trial of the difference between this Churn and the old Barrel description has been made. A ouantity of cream was divided into two lots—one was placed in one of the CoD-bination Churns, the other lot was placed in tbe ordinary Barrel Churn; the butter came in this Churn .__._ bour 13 minutes—whereas it came in the Patent Combination Churn in 15-m__utes. One who has had this Churn in work for six months, says that he can always guarantee to _«t bis butter in half-an—our. either winter or summer. The great advantage of this Churn is therefore very evident, and no dairy ought te be without one; ha— the time at least can be saved, and better butter can be depended upon. A FE?/ OF THE TESTIMONIALS RECEIVED FOR CHURNS. From John Grigg, Esq., Lonobeach. In reolr to yoar letter of the 12th inst., the Patent Churn (Turner's) made by you far mc is ir. a—h— w_v mo_t 6*t__—ctory. as so much as 11—bs of butter has been made at on* churning. " * * From J. J. Hkrrick, Esq., Tai Taro. The No. 3 Combination Churn I bought from you last December, we have used it every week since. I find it a wonderful improvement on the ordinary Barrel Churn in saving of time. We used to have four churning- for lTOlbs of butter, but your churn has churned the name amount at twice The churn I bought from you only holds about three gallons more than the one I was nrevioasly txs—g, still it only takes about half the time to churn the same quantity of butter as d_t forn-er one took. I can confldenUyre<»mmend it to aU dairy farmers. From Mr John Rose, Kegworth, near Bucks-—m. I have great pleasure in informing you that the Churn (Turner's C*-mb-_-*'-on) purchased —m— month- aeo gives every satisfaction as to ease in use and ready churning of the batter. VFrom Mb R. _mooK_—nd, St. Akdr-ws, I received the Churn all right, and am highly pleased with iv My wife churned for four hoars the week before we got your churn ; now she only churns half an hour. She says, after —rtwg every other kind of churn, she can say yours is the one. Please send the account. For farther particular-, apply to the Patentee, W. K.
