ESTABLISHED 130 YEARS ~~~ TURNERS LATENT COMBINATION CHURN. FTIHIS Churn has been Invented by a'practical dairy farmer to supply a deficiency which was I to exist in- the present Barrel Churn. In this Patent ChTn the user has the aduitasre whenever the cream becomes sleepy, of being able to thoroughly agitate the cream, by revomne the beaters ineide, whilst the barrel remains stationary, or it can be-revolved in the OTDoeite direction to the beaters, if the butter requires to be fetched quicker than usual. The frame is of the very beat possible description, morticed and tenoned together and held by Joint bolts in the same manner as chaffcutters, &c, so that it is impossible> to get; rieketty. hereto room to place a bucket under the Churn. The barrel is fitted with a bolt to hold it in position to take the butter out. with epUe hole to draw offthe buttermilk, with an easily tahen offcover, and with a valve to let off air, gas, &c Altogether, the Chum ia most complete. ...._». j A trial of the difference between this Churn and the old Barrel description has been made. A quantity of cream was divided into two lote-one was placed in one of the Combination Tiurns, the other lot was placed in the ordinary Barrel Churn; the bntter came in this Churn n 1 hour 15 minutes—whereas-it came-in the Patent Combination Churn in 15 minutes. One who has had this Churn in work for six months, says that he can always guarantee to rathis butter in half-an-hour, either winter or summer. * •__ _i tv The (treat advantage of this Churn is therefore very evident, and no dairy ought to be without one; half the time atleast can be saved, and bettor butter can be depended upon.
