Lord Brassey has written to the Argus, coiumenting on the unsatisfactory condition of the Australian squadron. He suggests that the Imperial Government should send four ironclads to be permanently stationed at Adelaide, Melbourne, Hobart and Wellington. FANCY DRESS BALL. Major Ind, of the Victorian Defence Force, died to-night of congestion of the lungs. THE ADELAIDE EXHIBITION. .
