THE SANDHURST EXPLOSION.

[RSUTIR’a telegrams.] Received February 24th, 1 p.m. Melbourne, February 24 By the explosion at Sandhurst six operatives lost their lives, the bodies being literally roasted. Two other woikmen were seriously injured. IRocoived February 2tth, 10.5 p.m. The manager of the gunpowder factory (Mr Kochumann) is in a critical state. The origin of the explosion has net yet been explained. Tne damage amounts to £ 11 ,000 . The buildings are uninsured.
