The Homeward mails per Union Com- ' pony's Australia, dated Auckland, November 9 th, were delivered in London to-day via Tnsoo. Beeei-sd December 20th, 1 p.m. Melbourne. December 20. The Pe-ineolar Company'- e.s. Clyde arrived yesterday evening. Sydney, December 20. The Waihora arrived this morning. S -. Reeet-ed December Sath. 10.5 p.m. a Adelaide, Deoember 20. The Orient a.a. Austral, with the outa ward mails (iat-d London, November s 19ib) arrived this morning. The German Lloyd'- -reamer Preusstn t arrived here to-day. One death from a smallpox occurred during the voyage, 1 and the passengers have consequently been placed in quarantine.
