In reply to a communication from the Governor of Victoria, asking whether a vessel is available for despatch to the New Hebiides for the purpose of protecting British interests in those islands, Admiral Try on has stated that two men-of-war are already at the New Hebrides, and be believes the state of affairs there has been exaggerated.
