WOOL STILL IMPROVING.
rBBCT—S,'S ———GRAMS.] Lonbon, September 10. Consols remain at 1001. New Zealand securities are at last quotations. The total quantity of wheat afloat for the United Kingdom is 1,610,©00 quarters, a decrease of 210,000 during the past fortnight. New Zealand mutton prime quality is realising -id per lb. Wool—At to-day's suction 11,800 bales were catalogued. The market was strong, and prices showed a further advance, Greasy wool is now l_d to 2d higher than at the close of the June series; ordinary scoured, 3d to 3sd; good scoured, 2d to 2.1 higher; fine short greasy crossbreds, l,d to 2d, and coarse crossbreds, Id to 2d higher. London, September 11. At to-day's wool sales 10,700 bales were catalogued. The market continues firm, fine crossbred wools were very firm; scoured wools from 2_d to 3d higher than last sales.
