The deaths of persons not residente of boroughs occurring at hospitals have heea excluded in all cases. The statistics for the Borough of Blenheim are'now published for the first time. The total births in the above boroughs (excluding Blenheim) amounted to 480, against 614 in May, a decrease of 84. '■ The deaths in June (excluding Blenheim) were 158, an increase of 2on the number for May. Of total deaths 162, males eonI fribuced 89, females 73 $ 54, of the deaths were of children under 5 years of age, being 3333 percent, of the whole number; j 89 of these were under 1 year of .age.
