' Conservative candidates have been elected for the following seats, held in tiie last Parliament by liberals:—East Renfrewshire, Houghton (Durham), Loughborough (Leicestershire), and Huntingdon. Bremner and Eugene Meson, Liberals. The Conservatives have gained Mate at Buckingham, Peebles, and. Thornbury (Gloucestershire), replacing the former Liberal members, Captain Yerney, Sir Ohas. Tennant, and M> Edward Howard.
