DUNEDIN, July 9. The half-yearly balance-sheet of the Colonial Bank of New Zealand shows a net profit for the year, after making the nana! allowances, amounting to .£18,960 ; adding tc this the balance from the last half year and deducting the tax on note circulation and JBSOO, a donation to the Guarantee Association, there is available .£20,419. Out of this it is propoeed to pay a dividend of 7 per cent, per »Tmnm on paid up capital, to add jEIOOO to reserve fund* and carry forward J85419. Mr John Bobert3 is the only candidate foe the vacancy in the Directorate.
