This a recently introduced feature, but it has already met with a most encouraging reception. No other Canterbury paper makes any attempt to provide literature of this character. THE! YEOMAN of itself alone makes the '' Weekly Press ' by far the best paper in New Zealand for country readers. In it are puolished every week wellexecuted PORTRAITS OF PRIZE PEDIGREE HORSES, SHEEP AMD CATTLE, with illustrative letterpress. The " Weekly is the ONLY JOURNAL in Canterbury whioh contains such illustrations. An English agricultural letter is an important feature of THE YEOMAN which contains also reliable veterinary articles, original agricultural notes, and notes on passing events from an agricultural standpoint, contributed by a practical farm writer of vast experience and undoubted ability. They contain the very latest news on matters that concern farmers to be had up to the moment, of going to press, and also interesting items of country news obligingly contributed by subscribers.
