RANGIORA WOOL SALE.
On Mondsv, Messrs Matson, Buss and Co. held the first wool sale of the season at their stores. A large number of bales were catalogued, but at the time appointed there was a limited attendance on the part -of buyers, which had, however, been auii--ctpated on the fact becoming known •est Saturday that certain wool-buyers fud formed a compact binding themselves to only attend tales is town. I what high reserve. The pricesi obtained were—fTr merino wool, s*d to 6Jd, crossbred, &*i to 7d. It is intended (our correspondent, stete*) to hold the next sale of the series in a fortnight.
