The Manager o< the National Mortgage and Agency Company, Limited, of New Zealand, reports of the local markets as follows:—The wheat market ia excited at Sβ 104 to 3a lid per bushel. Oats—New Zealand feed oats, fair demand at 2s 9i to Sβ; do, milling, rather more enquiry at reduced pricee, latest quotations 8a to Sβ 2d ; New Zealand oats, under bond, 2s to 2s 4d; barley is neglected at 3s 6d to 4a 6d t rye-grosv seed is in greater demand at' slightly improved prices, Ss 9d to 4s 7d. The same Cempany reports the sale of tauri pine as follows .-—-Hewn logs, per 100 ft super,, 12s i sawn flitches, 15s 6d; dressed boards, 7s 8J ; inch, 22s 6d; halfinch do, 16a 3d; T.G, flooring,per 100 ft lineal, 6 z I}, 11s 9d ; do, 6 x IJ, lie 6d;. do, 6xl, 9s6d; do, 4xlJ. lOjj do, 4x I,Bs 3s; tone of market steady, fiecdred April 28th. 9.30 p.m. SYDNEY, April 28. A proclamation published in to-day'f official Gazette further prorogues Parliament until 16th June.
