THE SHEFFIELD CLUB.
This Club held a Committee meeting on Saturdaynight at Green's Hotel; Mr Willis in the chair. Acircularwasreceivedfromthe Secretary Plumpton Park Company on the subject of opening a greyhound stud book. 'All were in favor of it being done, but action in the matter was deferred till next meeting. There were nine entries received for the Trial Stakes and seven for the All Ages. Appended is the draw :— Tsiai. Stakes, for puppies at £2 2a each. First dog, ilO 4s; second, M ss; third, JZZll*. Mine entries.
