ELLESMERE.
The nomination of a Licensing Committee for the above district took place at the Boad Board Office, Leeston, on the 23rd, the following gentlemen being duly nominated:—Messrs W. 3. G. Bluett, John Boag, John Barnett, J. B. Campbell, John Campbell, W. D. Lawrence, Lewis Mathias, F. Overton, H. Overton, B. G. Park, and G. C. Waby. The poll for the election of five of the abovenamed candidates will be taken at the Boad Board office, Leeston, and at the Public Library, Southbridge, on Tuesday, the 3rd of March, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
