January 17. A despatch farm Liverpool on January 17th, says it has been ascertained that the steamer Admiral Merrison, plying between Dublin and Holyhead, wa3 sunkia a severe storm on the night of the 15th. Twelve of the crew and four of the passengers were drowned. She collided with the American ship Santa Clara.
