From the evidence it appeared that accused had ■ ridden up East street at a smart canter, and knocked down a little boy who happened to be crossing the road at the time* Caldicott did not stop to ascertain if tho ' boy was hart, but rode on till ho was pursued and overtaken by tho Bailiff of the Court, who witnessed the accident. Accused was fined 20s and.costs. Stoat Horse.—For allowing a horae to stray, J. Beswick was fiaed 5s and costs. TJneegistkbed Dog.— G. Lorell was fined cost 3 for keeping as unregistered dbfjf.
