Churchwood, the old-established wholesale coffee, pepper, and spice inorchant, 147 Toik street, was afflicted so .severely with rheumatic lumbago that he couldn't rise from his chair. The application of St. Jacoba Oil completely removed the pain; and Mr Haynea. was so overjoyed at the result that ho now affirms he would gladly spend upon St. Jacobs Oil the last £1 he had in tho world. Uβ is now, in fact, a regular walking adveitieement for the oil.

The reporter had heard bo much on all sides, not only from his erickcting, footballing, 'cycling, and sculling friends, bat also from his brother Presamon, in praise of St. Jacobs Oil, tha.t.he determined t©get an opinion on the subject from Mr Michael MoOirr. one of tke proprietors of the Freeman's Journal, IC§ York street. That gentleman testified to aomo astonishing cures which to hi£ own knowledge had been accomplished by St. Jacobs Oil iuthe up-country districts; and he also reforred to his own case. He said that ho lately Buffered such acute ngony from epreneee and inflammation in the toes of Ms right foot that he had to leave his office and go home to bed He applied St. Jacobs Oil. and after rubbing the part briskly for about 10 minutes be obtained relief. Next morning he again applied the oilj and lie has since been free from pain. Mr McGirr winds up by asseverating that, haying been a sceptic, he has now become a firm believer in the efficacy of good St. Jacob.
