The Australian cricketeM commenced tiw third cricket match to-day. They met sa eleven of the county of Surrey. The weather was splendid, and Kennington Oval was crowded with spectators, by whom a great interest was taken in the game. The visitors went in first, and the innings closed for a total of 195. McDonnell, c, 37, and Scott, c, 71, being the highest scorers. The Home team then went to the wickets, and their innings ended for 97 runs, towards which Mr Ackroyd was highest contributor with 35. For the Australians Spcfforth and Boyle iowled splendidly, the former taking four wickets for 20 runs and Boyle four for 10.
