Wbdkxsdat. ■ Fairly large entries of all descriptions of . stock yarded. In the fat cheep market some —ry good quality cross-bred wethers -were on. offer, which, sola, in most cases at very good values; the market, however, «ts very fluctuating, sales being made at from 14s 6d to 19s 3d; merino wethers-were in moderate supply, selling at from 8e to I9a9i; cross-bred ewes at froml3s to 15s 6d, being at the rate of from 2|d to 3d per Ib, according to quality. Store cheep ■were not in large supply. A line of mixed ages, crossbred ewes and wethers, at 14s 6d, four-toothj at 13s sd, two-tooths 13a 4d, and laabs at 9s Sd and 9s 6d, were the principal sales. Fat lambs sold at late quotations. In tie pig market the supply was but small, and good sales resulted. Store Cattle— Some very good fines ,of stores on offer, and demand fair. Two-year-old mixed cattle at JB3 lie, three-xear-oldjsteere at £5 ss, mixed at JB3 10a, and ■yearluMra at from 3Gs to 32s 6d are about "laUnalates. Ihe fat cattle market was wlu supplied, some excellent quality offering. The demand was, however, only middling, and. values were on a par with ' Sat week's market-lT* to ate per 1001b.
